Where To Start

By Ted Dieck | Recruiter’s View - General Stuff | Oct 8, 2009

After nine months of blogging on the other site, the gestation period is complete.  A blog is born.

So what do I do with all the old stuff?  (I’m not carrying that metaphor any further, and you shouldn’t either.)

Nevertheless, we had a terrific groundwork in place.

Insightful.  No.  Prescient.  Brilliant in every way.

How about, we leave it at that.

If you were a raving fan of the first blog, then you probably have the same last name as me.

While that’s a lovely coincidence, it doesn’t make for a large audience.

I’ll inevitably refer back to our original work, saying things like, “See, I toldja so.”

But I can still say that without backing it up with any facts or proof, right?

So, m-a-y-b-e, if it seems overwhelmingly important, I’ll bring the old postings over here.  If I do, we’ll have pages of brilliance followed by a Welcome posting and then more pages of brilliance.  (It Don’t Need To Make Sense.)

I guess, in real life, we just plow forward.

That’s how I’m going to play it.

I’m sure the future will be every bit as compelling as the past.

So… Where to start?

Here.
