1413 Software Developer – Houston, TX (Updated)

By Ted Dieck | Featured Careers - Active Search - Oil and Gas - Pick | May 6, 2011

I have a very cool opportunity for a software developer to work with a pro, producing software products for the oil and gas industry.

The employer serves upstream oil and gas measurement, SCADA, communications and automation systems.

You will be at the heart of software development for the very products this company uses and sells.

This is a big deal.

Most of the work involves application and server code for SCADA operations and back office systems. It includes Windows™ applications, system services and web applications.

You’ll interact with third party APIs.
And you’ll even get to work on embedded systems.

Lots of variety.

You’ll have broad exposure to every aspect of software product specification, architecture and design, development, testing and documentation.

Outstanding opportunity.

What I like the best…

The manager seriously wants somebody who gets interesting ideas and loves collaborating on the next inspiration.

Full time, permanent position.

Remarkably supportive manager.

Requirements

* Absolutely requires complex C#.
* MS SQL is big.
* Also, C++.
* And we’ll want to see a four year Computer Science degree.

If you’ve written some cool code, if you totally ”Get It,” and if you’re wanting an opportunity where the employer Get’s It, too, you need to contact me right away.

Like I said, this is a very cool opportunity.
