PE for HQ – Controls Engineer – Professional Engineer – Dallas – 1432

By Ted Dieck | Featured Careers - Active Search - Aggregate - Oil and Gas - Pick - Power | Jan 1, 1970

The second largest construction company in the world is consolidating its North American acquisitions into its Dallas headquarters. They want a PE in there now.

They’ll install a solid Professional Engineer (Controls Engineer) at their Headquarters right away, well ahead of the full Electrical Team, which is also relocating to Dallas.

This division specializes in the EPC delivery of Power Distribution Systems, Process Control Systems and Industrial IT projects. Typical customers are from the Oil and Gas and Power industries. Aggregate is also big.

The company’s automation system projects are normally part of larger construction environments, providing everything from customer interface, through concept, design, installation, and commissioning.

Lots of PLC-HMI-IS installations. Those project sizes run from small to a half million dollars, providing electrical design with motor control centers, instrumentation, panel design, motor elementary drawings, loop sheets, schematics, cable sizing, raceway sizing, etc.

This is a full time, permanent position. Salaried with bonus and benefits.

Business is good. Resources are huge.

The Company

The employer is an extremely well managed control systems integrator and part of a major international construction group. I know this team.

This is a stable, supportive environment where responsible professionals put their customers first.

Expect a small company atmosphere with astonishing financial strength.

Powerful reputation. Incredible connections, often working direct with the majors.

Nicely positioned to serve high demand segments of the global economy.
