2010 Resolution

I haven’t been gone. Just working, actually. Hard to believe, during a time of economic acid reflux. But, Thank God for good clients, that’s what happened.

Meanwhile, I’ve been sitting on tons of Recruiter’s View letters. The big challenge has been writing it up in a style that doesn’t read like a suicide note.

I’m going to try this: There is good news. There is strength, positive progress, and stuff like that. The sticking point has been whether to ignore scurrilous behavior, just to keep a pleasant tone.

Well, you know I’m not going to do that. On the other hand, I can’t wallow in it, either.

When I see policies designed to pick your pocket or de-rail your career, I think I’ve got to mention it. When I do, I’ll just try to keep it brief. That way, at least I’ve put up some markers. (I still go back to the original blog to check dates and facts. It’s very useful.)

Also, I’m hoping to stack the deck a little bit. I’m promising myself 3:1 positive articles, versus negative. I know that’s not going to happen, but it gives me a one-third OK to give you my best take on what’s happening. In the meantime, I can maybe crest at fifty-fifty in the attitude department.

That’s a good start, isn’t it?
